You're a Ray of Sunshine

Hi there!

My son and I have been having at night what he calls "Ark Class."  (He really pronounces it Ark, it's not a typo :)) I moved my circut to the kitchen table and we work for about a half hour each night.  It's great.  He loves it because it's been our special time together after chloe goes to bed and I love seeing his excitement.  We have been slowly working on a little mini album for our favorite summer photos.  I will share it soon.

Tonight, we made a card.  He gets excited because I let him push all the buttons on the circut and he gets to ink up the stamps.

I found a couple of blogs that had great inspiration:

1.  Rose Blossom Garden- use the Artiste circut cartridge and an image from the letter G.
2.  Retrosketches

I cut two images of the sun and cut them so I could alternate the paper from Surf's Up.  This really is a fun paperpack.  Was not my favorite when I first saw it but I've been having so much fun creating with it!  I completed a workshop created by Brenda Rose and also completed the Workshop on the Go.  There was enough paper left over to add to the mini album beau and I are working on.  The stamp set used is from Patterned Pennants (ctmh).

Here is the sketch used:

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a great week and stop by these beautiful blogs for some inspiration!

My poor neglected blog...but I have good reasons....

Hi there!  It's been awhile!  I hate to admit it, but I haven't been scrapping much...but I have good reasons.  Summer is here and we are truly enjoying every minute of it.  At the beginning of summer, my boy and I sat down and made our summer bucket list:

  • Have a water balloon fight
  • Plant flowers and a garden
  • Go on Vacation
  • Go to water park
  • Eat ice cream
  • Pick strawberries and ride on the gator at the patch
  • Swim in the pool in our yard
  • Go to gramma and grampa's
  • Camp
  • Roast marshmallows
  • Run in the sprinkler
  • Celebrate Chloe's birthday
  • Read books outside on a blanket
  • Go to work with daddy- beau
  • Eat popsicles and make popcorn
  • Go to the beach
So as you can see, we have been enjoying our summer to the fullest!  Here are a few fun pictures for you. (lots of pictures!!)

So thankful for these summer days.  Hopefully one of these rainy days I'll get into my scrap room, but until then, I'll keep enjoying these little moments with my kiddos :)

Hope you are having a great summer....Kim
