A little something for you....

Hello there!

It's been awhile!  Tonight I wanted to share a quick card I made today.  Since I love Dream Pop so much, I just had to make another card with it.  Today it was so beautiful out and these papers are so cheery.  Went with my day :)

I used the sketch from Sunday Stamps:

I started off by inking up the background cardstock with white daisy ink.  The cardstock that came with Dream Pop is embossed so it really makes the embossing pop.  I  also used washi tape for the middle banner.  The sentiment is from the stamp set For a Friend.  The sentiments on this set are perfect for a card, 3D item or a goodie bag, etc.  AND of course I had to finish off the card by adding a little bling :)

Enjoy your week and thank you for stopping by!  Kim

Mama's Girl- Claire Page

Hello!  I'm on vacation, but I didn't want my blog to go neglected so I'm sharing a page I made last week.  The page was inspired by a sketch but I cannot for the life of me remember which one!  If I think of it I will will revise my post.  :)

It was so nice to sit and scrap at night while on summer break in May.  I scrapped mainly pages for my little Chloe.
If you look closely at the title page, you will see some 'bling' that is a little out of place on the M and G.  That would be from my girlie. :)  She was in the room with me and was 'playing.'  I kept it on as a reminder.  A reminder of her innocence, sweetness and of this particular day.  Chloe's growing and my baby will be 2 next month.  (time needs to slow down) She's learning to be a big girl by going on the potty.  She is doing so well too.  She is a mama's girl and I love it.  Every time I hear that sweet little voice say, Mama!? my heart melts.  This page is for her 2 year pictures that I will soon be taking.

Thank you for stopping by!

#1 Dad

Hi there!

Today I'm playing along with a few challenges that I found to be inspiring.  Have you been to the new rose blossom garden challenge blog yet?  There's amazing artwork on there!  Check it out HERE!  Infact, their current challenge is using the Father's Day key on the Artiste cartridge.  The sketch I usesd is from Freshly Made Sketches.

I have to tell you I had so much fun making this card for a few reasons: 1) I'm loving the lime green and orange!  I knew I wanted to use pear and I 'paired' it up with scraps from Buzz and Bumble and Dream Pop, 2) I was able to make a 'manly' card.  Seems that I don't do that enough.  The #1 Dad sentiment was cut from the Artiste cartridge and you can't tell, but there is an orange pocket behind it too.  I wanted to bring out the orange.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!  I'm off to pack for a vacation.  :)

Computer Screen fixed!!

Yahoo!  My computer screen is fixed!   Thank you for your advice!  If this ever happens to you where your font becomes so small you can't read it, Ctrl + will make it bigger.

Thought I'd share!  I'll be back to show another page soon.
