Celebrate Today

Hi Scrappy friends!

I'm using a few new challenges for today's card.  The sketch is from Annabelle Stamps Check it out HERE!

I also played along with Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog- Here is the tic tac toe for this week:

I went with GEMS, RIBBON and FLOWERS- here is my creation:

I can't get enough of close to my heart's clementine paperpack!  I just love the colors and patterned paper!  I also used my Artiste Cricut cartridge along with the stampset called "Casual Expressions."  The flowers I had in my stash- they are Prima Flowers- the colors matched so well.

Have a great rest of your day and happy scrappin!

Snowmen, JOY, You're Sweet

Hello there!

It's raining here in MN.  I can't believe it!  Not just a light sprinkle either!  My hubby came home early from hunting because it was thundering and lightening so bad.

I have a few cards to share today.  First up is my take on Freshly Made Sketches:

I was surfing blogland and came across the snowmen idea Here at Stampin Rules! I thought it was such a cute idea.

The second card i made is using the CAS(E) sketch- check it out HERE!

I love the black, white and red together for holiday cards and this sketch makes it so easy to have a clean cut card!  You know me and bling...I can't get enough of it so of course I had to add some on this card!

And lastly, I'm sharing my take on the H2H photo inspiration challenge.  I've never made a card using photo inspiration so this was new to me! And it was fun!

When seeing this photo, my original thought was to pull out the Mayberry stampset but then I changed my mind and used "You're Sweet."  Here is my creation:

I can honestly say that I used old stampsets that have not been touch in a long time!  It was nice to ink those babies up again!

Thank you for checking out my creations!  Have a great rest of your day!

Our Family Advent Calendar

Hi There Crafty Friends!

Today I thought I would show you our family advent calendar I made last night.  I used a 24 mini muffin tin pan for it.  The paper is from My Mind's Eye and also from my stash of goodies.  Magnet is on each piece of paper. Things I plan on putting inside each cubby include a little treat, little saying or verse or something fun to do for the day as a family!

This little guy cost me $4 since I had all the paper and magnet on hand already!  I can't wait for our family to use it this year!

I'm entering this calendar into the following challenges:

Tuesday Alchemy- Anything but a Card
Use Your Stuff- Holiday Themed
Simply Create Challenges
Craft Us Crazy! Anything Goes!

Thanks for stopping by!  ~Kim

Celebrate

Hello AGAIN!  Yes, I know, I'm probably blowing up your blogger feed!  I have made a ton of cards and wasn't sure when entering them into challenges if I could just list them all on one post.  What do you do?  I'd love to hear!  I don't want my posts to get annoying! lol  I guess I've been thinking about papercrafting too much....if there is such a thing as that! lol

You guessed it....it's naptime around here and I made another card!  The colors I used are from The Play Date Cafe:

Here's my card:

For the background, I used ctmh's Two Step background stampset.  The stars are chipboard and the 'celebrate' sentiment is from Card Chatter- Birthday- ctmh.

I promise I'll try not to post another card today!  lol

And please let me know if you have posted various cards on one post....

Have a great rest of your day!
~Kim :)

Enjoy this Day

Hello again!
There was one more sketch I had found that I wanted to use but I didn't make it in time for the challenge.

The sketch: Isn't it fun!?

Here's my card:

I love the bright colors in it!  I added a little bling (my fav) and a star- I'm also entering this card into City Crafter Challenge- Stars and Sparkles.  There is a giant bling in the middle of the ribbon on the bottom- it's so pretty in person!

Thanks for stopping by!

You're Sweet

Hello!  I found a few more challenges to try last night:

Here's the sketch I found at RetroSketches:

Here's my take on it:

I love how simple and creative this sketch is!  I had fun coloring that cute little cupcake too with my color pencils!  I had to dust those babies off but was great to finally use them again!  The stampset is from ctmh- it's called Pun Fun.

I'm entering this card into a few other challenges as well:

Papertake Weekly- Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!

Many, Many Thanks

Good Morning!  Last night I was able to get in my craft room and make a few cards for challenges I wanted to link up to.  My hubby is home today so I'm hoping to make a few more cards today as well during naptime.  I swear, I think I have become addicted to these challenges!  They make it so much more easier and fun!

The Sweetest Thing had a sketch to try this week for Sweet Sunday Sketches:

Here is my take on the card:

Since I had Clementine still sitting out I decided to use it- plus it's one of my favorite packs from ctmh.  The stampsets used are Many Thanks and Hooray Boutique- both ctmh.  I cut out my flowers first using the Art Philosophy circut cartridge and then stamped them with the horray boutique.  I love how the card turned out and I know the perfect person to give this to :)

I'm entering this card into a few other challenges:

The Paper Players- Give Thanks

Addicted to Stamps!- Flowers

Just Add Ink:

Check them out- fun fun!!

Thanks for stopping by!

See you later!  Kim
