Merry Monday #40

Happy Monday!  It's Monday and that means there's a new challenge sketch up at Merry Monday~ Check it out HERE! So many beautiful creations!

The sketch:

 And here's my creation:

I have to say this was not my original plan for this card.  I played with the inside of the ornament for a while and finally ended up with this cute sentiment.  My original plan was to cut out '25' on my circut but I just couldn't make the colors come together and ended up not happy with the result.  But, I'm happy with how this card turned out.  I love the small Merry Christmas Sentiment at the bottom and of course the bling :)  Since the cardstock is a shimmery chocolate, I created a spot on the inside of the card to add a personal message.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good night!  ~ Kim

Hello Friend

I was excited when I came across Artful Delight- check it out HERE!  This is the sketch challenge for November:

I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with it but the ideas starting rolling around in my head and I was able to create this card:

Clementine (Close to My Heart) is one of my favorite paperpacks and I knew I wanted to use it for this card.  Isn't the paper beautiful?  The sentiment is from Memory Keepers Chip board.  Thought it was perfect with this paperpack.  The "You Make Me Smile" sentiment is from the border along the Clementine pack.

Thanks for checking out my creation and have a great rest of your weekend!

While searching blogland, I came across one more card sketch I wanted to try at unscripted sketches. I pulled out My Mind's Eye pack again and this is what I came up with:

Fall Pages

happy Sunday!

I just thought I'd pop in to share a few fall pages I scrapped.  I love fall and all the things that come with this time of year!

This is from the flirty paperpack (ctmh) and the dimensional elements- those little pumpkins are my kiddos :)

I'm linking this up to Crazy for Challenges-Anything But a Card and The Pink Elephant- Yellow Green Brown and Cream.

I'm also joining in on the fun at Stuck on You Sketches- Fall or Autumn.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day!  It's beautiful here in MN!

Grown with Love

Happy Saturday!  It's deer opener so the kids and I are hanging out around the house.  They are napping now so I'm getting a little scrappin in.  Today I wanted to play along with a few challenges:

Here's the sketch I'm using from Freshly Made sketches:

And for the colors I'm playing along with Dynamic Duos:

I love these colors together and I immediately think Christmas but I challenged myself not to make a Christmas Card....Here's my card:

I love this stampset- it's one of my favorite's!  It's called Grown with Love.  For the paper I used Pear and Partridge from ctmh.
