Fun with Bargello

Bargello is such a cool technique!  Have you ever tried it?  While blog surfing a while ago I came across it and wanted to try it.  You can check out all the deets Here at Technique Tuesday.

I used 5 pieces of scrap paper for the bargello and cut each strip 1/2 inch.  The sentiment is from the stamp set "A Rainbow" (CTMH) which is now retired.  If you try this technique, make sure you use STRONG adhesive!  I used ctmh's liquid glass. Oh and all paper used in this is ctmh paper.  A little fanfare and chantilly...

  1. Very nicely done. and yes, I have tried this technique...It think it always makes a neat looking card...I like the colors you chose.

  2. Glad you discovered bargello--great way to use paper scraps and makes for a cute rainbow. The pearl swirls on this card are an awesome inspiration!

  3. What a cool looking card! I really have to try that technique! I really, really love it! Thanks for the inspiration!!

  4. WOWZERS!!! That looks like a lot of work in those little squares...would've never guessed it was anything different than adhering them one-by-one! And the opaques under the cloud...{{{LOVE}}}!!!
