THANKFULNESS
It's Thanksgiving... A day of thankfulness, family, food and laughter! I hope all my American followers have a wonderful Thannksgiving. I sure am thankful for all of you following my blog and
sharing in our passion of paper crafting. I'm home with my lovies- just us 4. It's weird not traveling anywhere but exciting to
be able to start our own traditions.
Here are a few pages I thought I'd share to celebrate Thanksgiving:
This picture is one of my favorites. Chloe is bawling, beau is being a silly boy and driving the tractor and chuck and I are giggling while my mom takes the picture....just enjoying the ride.
Yup, these are just a few random findings I find in my house weekly. Chloe potty training her dolls and beau making signs "no chloe's allowed." I laugh and try to embrace all these little things. Thank God we moms have moments like this to giggle at.
I hope your hearts are warm today, tummy's full and you are enjoying time with your family.
Blessings, Kim

My country kids.
Me and my hubby. He has shaved since this picture- I guess all my complaining paid off :) Yup, these are just a few random findings I find in my house weekly. My grampa Joe
Hi friends,
I woke up this morning with some horrible news from my mom- which it's her birthday today so I was surprised when she was calling me, rather than me calling her- I knew something was up. My grampa's days here on earth are numbered . He's been battling cancer and the Lord will call him home soon. Please pray for the Lord's comfort and peace. It's been a hard day. Sometimes I think writing about things and looking back at photos help. I created this page at my last scrapbooking weekend retreat. I thought I'd share it.
Thanks for stopping by and for your prayers! Kim

Stamps or no stamps?
Hello!
Today I'm showing a few cards. One has stamping and the other does not. Both very simple cards and festive for Christmas. I've been having so much fun making Christmas cards with the Frosted paper pack and Sparkle and Shine pack- probably the reason I order picture photo cards- so I can just have fun and not feel pressure around the holidays to get homemade cards out. I used to make all homemade cards but was losing enjoyment in it. I admire all of you that make all your Christmas cards!
Thanks for popping in! Make it a great day! Kim

No projects to share....just thankfulness
Today has just been one of those days. The laundry is piled, the toilet is dirty, tired from working, etc. I've seen all these posts on FB where people post what they are thankful for. Here is a mini list of what I'm thankful for: (no particular order)
1. I'm thankful for dirty laundry- it means we have clothes, and a lot of clothes.
2. My messy house- it means we have a house to get messy and to LIVE in. My house is definitely lived in.
3. My loud house- it means my we feel safe here and have fun.
4. Our garage cluttered with my hubby's tools and material- it means my hubby works and works hard.
5. Dirty dishes- means we have dishes to eat off of AND have food.
6. A playroom in the basement that looks like a tornado went through it- my kids play and have an imagination.
7. Weekends that are busy- it means we have friends and family that love us and want to do things with us.
8. Rushing to get my kids ready in the morning with getting all their warm winter gear on- they have winter gear to wear!
9. Tired from working- it means I have a job!
10. My super messy scrap room- it means I have my own scrapbooking room where I can just create!!
Of course there are a TON more things I could list, only listed things that were on my mind tonight- always good to remind yourself of the good. :)

Quick Christmas Cards
I've been having so much fun creating with Frosted paperpack. I really am loving it! Here are a few cards I made:
I think the splash of ruby adds the Christmas touch. The card with the trees was inspired by Karen Petersen.
Hope you are able to make something fun today! Thanks for stopping by!

No stamping!
Hi!
Sometimes I just want to make something quick- you know, just to get it out of my system :) These were so quick and easy to make! I used the Sparkle and Shine paper along with the dimensional elements. And did not stamp.
Hope you have a great day!!

Crystal Lite- Sweet Treat Containers
HI there!
I have been hoarding crystal light containers (name brand ones and generic ones) for a while now- thinking I could alter them somehow. I grabbed 3 and decided to make a little sweet treat goodie container to display at my openhouse/card workshop.
Here's a look at them:
They were fun to make, however they are not perfectly square so if you make these, cut your paper slightly crooked because it will even out as you wrap the containers. I used Frosted paper pack along with ruby cardstock. I also used liquid glass as my adhesive. These baby's aren't going anywhere :)

Happy Halloween- Hip Pics Album
Hello! I'm excited to show you this fun little mini album I made using the Hip Pics Album Kit, Sparkle and Shine Washi Tape, Laughing Lola Workshop, Perfect Fit Halloween Stampset and Proplayer Assortment. (click on any of the names to be directed to my ctmh website.)
I really wanted a mini halloween album since I had so many pictures. We had such fun halloween festivites so I wanted to preserve all the memories in one little album. I ordered the Hip Pics Album a while ago and had it sitting in my scrap room along with the items listed above so I just mixed it all together and had fun :)
Here's a look at the album:
I don't have a ton of halloween decor so this will be fun to set out throughout the years. AND I have enough left over to order just an album without the kit! So, this would make a great little brag book for my kids grammas :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Open House Prepping
Hello there!
Happy Veteran's Day and thank you to all of our military personnel that have served our country allowing us freedom!
Our office at worked is closed due to Veteran's Day so I've been getting scrappy and prepping for a Close to My Heart Open House/Card workshop that I'll be holding on December 5th. Chloe has been having fun with mom today too while Beau is at school :) Here are a couple of layouts I created to display at the open house: (sorry about the photos- the best I could get them)

Laughing Lola
Sparkle and Shine
I had so much fun putting these together! I can honestly say these two packs have become my favorite, but I say that about every pack- even the ones that don't catch my attention right away. Sparkle and Shine is so festive and Laughing Lola is so versatile. New product should be here soon so I can create the 5 cards I'll be offering in the workshop. I'm really looking forward to the open house and so happy to be back with Close To My Heart on the Rose Blossoms team! My team leader is Brenda Rose and she has also created a challenge blog: Rose Blossom Garden which has incredible artwork on it and fun challenges (I've added a page on top that will direct you to it). I've also added a link my CTMH website on the right for any of you interested in checking it out. CTMH has really came out with something for every crafter. Whether you scrap, make cards, enjoy home decor creations or dabble in jewerly making, there is something for everyone.
Thank you for stopping by :) I appreciate it!
Have a great day,
Kim
