Girlie Girl Cards- Live Fast/Celebrate

Hi there!  My kiddos are napping and I was able to play a little this afternoon.  (I made the first card last night) I found 2 new challenges and I thought I would play along.

The sketch I used is from Try Stampin on Tuesday!
The paper pack I used is a retired (for a few years now) ctmh pack- Notebook.  It was one of my favorites!  Rather than continuing to hoard it, it was time to use some of it up.  I cut the dress, etc with the Artiste Circut cartridge.  I love how it turned out!

I'm entering my next card into the new challenge blog Inkspirational!  This one is a color combo:

Fun colors!

The sketch I used is from Freshly Made Sketches.
And here is my card:
A while ago, I accidently bought 2 inch Glue Dots! I decided to open them up and play around with some left over rosette ribbon I had.  This was the result and I love it!
Thanks for checking out my creations!

  1. Well done Kim for being the very first entry into our first ever Inkspirational Challenge. Your creation is fabulous! The ribbon flower is fantastic and I love the loopy border and the vintage-look sentiment. What a great job you've done with our colours.

Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges. I hope you've signed up for our follower giveaway and hope you will join us again next week for another challenge.

  2. Well, Kim, look who's first out the gates!!! ;) Thanks for your concern about the link--I don't pay for the photo option currently but might soon in the future. Now, onto your cards! I adore the dress form of your second one and the CAS layout of your second is definitely a winner!!! Thank you SO MUCH for joining us at TSOT AND Inkspirational!!! I hope that you can come and play along this month at Technique Tuesday! We've got prizes and a DT call going on! :)

  11. Kim, this is stunning! I love the ribbon, the pink really stands out against the white space and the button with twine in the centre is a great touch. I also love the green trim, is that a die cut?
